Union Connector is a modern manufacturing company with resources and capabilities to design and build custom elecrical equipment to meet your needs.
Contract manufacturing is our specialty, and we can assist you in bringing new products to market. Union Connector is located a short distance from the Melville offices of Underwriter’s Laboratories and can expedite the testing of your designs if it is required.We can either help you design a product from scratch, or act as your metal fabricator, or wire and assemble your product, or all of the above.
Our Production Engineering department uses the current Autodesk Inventor software to do 3-D CAD/CAM prior to releasing projects to the fabrication shop. This avoids many of the dollar and time costs of product prototyping. Parts manufacturing is accurate and repeatable.
Metalworking and sheet metal fabrication is done using computer controlled welders, brakes, stamping and routing machines. Machining is done on CNC milling machines. A power cleaning and powder coating facility adjacent to the metal shop gives us the ability to provide a wide variety of finishes and colors.
Product wiring, assembly and testing is accomplished by our experienced staff of technicians, some of whom have more than 30 years of experience building electrical power distribution equipment. They work in self-supervising teams with the goal of producing quality products on-time and on-budget.
